Extended Description

Map construction started with hollow cubes that misaligned when stretched to their final shape. This wasn't noticed until much later when the map was getting complicated. These should be rebuilt new without using stretching of those brushes, but I've spent too much time on it and would like others to see the map anyway.

Author's Notes

I like maps with lots of open space and don't see many (ever try to fly the redeemer down a hallway?). I also wanted to make a map that looked more like the real world than the common space / futuristic industrial environment. The hardest part was the horizon beyond the fence line. Most maps hide the horizon with walls or mountains, or float everything in space to avoid the issue. I was determined to have an open field look to it, and it still looks poor but you should have seen the early attempts! The map has a lot of weapons and pickups, but I think that because the map is large and well laid out this enhances the strategy need to win.
