Put all the .u and .int files in your System directory, and the .unr files in your Maps directory. To use the optional console:
Note: The new console is identical to the original console in normal games, but in Into the Trenches games, it has a special background(that looks very cool!).
Into the Trenches is a teamplay mod inspired by CanalZone for TeamFortress(for Quake 1). The goal is to capture as many command points as possible. A command point is placed in a level that is made especially for Into the Trenches. To capture a command point, take the command point marker(a weird cube-type thing) from your base, and take it to a command point. While you're carrying the marker, you'll move half speed and glow. If you decide you want to get rid of the marker without capturing a command point, touch the "disposal point" in your base. Scoring is nearly identical to CanalZone; 10 player points and 10 team points to capture a command point, as well as 1 team point for every 30 seconds your team holds that command point. When you enter the game, you are placed on the team with the least players(relative to the team's maximum players, which is defined by the level designer.). To switch teams, use the Player menu (Multiplayer->Player). A team switch causes you to lose one point, unless your score is already at or below 0.
