Author's Notes
--------------
There seem very few large maps where 15 skill_3 bots can be let loose with
sufficient weaponry. DMNoddy is an obvious exception. This level was designed
to be considerably larger than many others for massive multiplay use.
An invading space craft has found a castle built in a valley filled with ice.
The level was originally written for the ornamental ice of Klingon Honor Guard.
The castle has a lot of polygons but very few textures. Also the poly count is
always kept below 100 on bot paths to maintain speed.
The bots will not enter the transport pyramid below the ship and so have no access
to the extreme sniper position the ship provides. Bots didn't like strange gravity.
I dont like platform style jumping puzzles but the ship is full of weird gravity.
Clues:- the front path with the gold symbol on the wall goes to the observation deck
on the first floor from below or above - use the walls to slow yourself. The side paths
with the silver symbol go up to the roof area with the sniper rifle. The rear path
throws you out of the ship into the moat - bet you can't grab the armour.
In the castle, there will be an intense war of bots in the central courtyard
around the pool with fewer bots as you move away. The bots use the portal tunnels
with only occassional delay at the actual portal. I find the tunnels confuse human
players but the bots dont care! The 'hidden' elevator on the back wall is designed
to move bots down from the walls. They spawn upstairs, obtain weapons and move down
toward the courtyard.
Weapons are placed so that the bots dont all fight with the dispersion pistol.
"Blue Light" levels annoy me. So expect well armed bots.
The bots are not pathed to use the elevators that access the middle towers
or the underwater tunnels so you can find sanctuary there.
The level is designed to allow maximum performance from the bots while allowing the
human a fair chance.
Enjoy! Semper fi!
